JLB Angie

Rosenwald High School is proud to recognize an exceptional accomplishment by Angellee “Angie” Garcia-Velazquez, who continues to make our school community proud. Angie made history this year as the first Rosenwald student to participate in Junior Leadership Bay (JLB), a Bay County Chamber of Commerce program designed to prepare students to become future community leaders.

Angie not only represented Rosenwald with excellence throughout the program, but she also successfully graduated from Junior Leadership Bay and achieved an even greater honor—being named the 25th recipient of the Junior Leadership Bay Scholarship. She was selected from among all JLB 2025 graduates for this prestigious award, which covers two years at Gulf Coast State College followed by two years at Florida State University–Panama City.

Saying we are proud of Angie is truly an understatement. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence reflect the very best of Rosenwald High School. We invite our entire school community to join us in congratulating Angie and her family on this remarkable achievement. Angie, Rosenwald loves you, and we can’t wait to see the great things you will accomplish in the future!
